Reading with sufficient accuracy and fluency to support comprehension is one of the 1st grade Common Core Standards. My students love technology and I can’t think of a better way to encourage them to develop their reading and comprehension skills than with the most current and motivating technology. Being a first year teacher, I want to be able to provide opportunities for my students to become stronger, more fluent readers. My students are surrounded with technology, it is the world they live in. Currently, my school does not have the extra funds to be able to provide a current and updated listening center.

About my class
