We move around a lot in our classroom. Sometimes the shuffling and activity can create distractions. Through the use of technology my students are utilizing many different tools where listening is a key component. Using headphones helps buffer noise for better concentration and a more personal learning experience. They are listening to stories and books, guided instructions and in some cases their own voice recording as a tool to share what they are learning. Having the headphones available will allow them to keep distractions at a minimum while not having to increase volume to hear over other things happening around them.
