Just like their grade level peers, the students in my classroom love to read and look at books! Board books are great for my classroom because they are durable and developmentally appropriate for many of my students. I am also requesting various literacy activities to be used for small group instruction and independent work activities. Students will use these activities to learn and develop new literacy skills, which will increase their overall level of independence and confidence. By donating to my grant, you will help put engaging and developmentally appropriate books and literacy activities into the hands of my students.
