My students attend a low-income school in a suburb of a major city. They are surrounded by technology on a daily basis, but their school lacks the technology that will help them compete in the new economies of tomorrow. My students are passionate about the world and engaged in the subject matter. They are itching for creative ways to demonstrate their knowledge - which involves going beyond the traditional tests and essays that they are used to. I want to see them translate their diverse backgrounds and creativity into a project that they can carry with them throughout their life.
