I am trying to add to my flexible/alternative seating in my classroom! Last year when I taught third grade I had a rugs, a bungee chair, bean bag chair, cozy chair, exercise ball, and rocking chair. My students LOVED having the option to sit in another place, MOVE, and still easily stay on task! My goal is to expand my seating by adding five Hokki stools to my classroom! Hokki stools were designed with kids in mind as they allow students to move/wiggle in their seat WHILE staying actively engaged in their work. I have done significant research and decided that I want to provide these to my students in addition to the alternative seating I already have!
