4th grade students are not very organized. This school year, they will have to write six different essays from all kinds of genres (historical fiction, tall tale, science fiction, biography, procedure, persuasive/argumentative) These folders will help them in the writing process as they use each section of the folder for where they are in the writing process. This will help them be able to keep their mateials in the proper area and there should not be any misplaced items. With our population of ESL students (our school has12-15 different nationalites on the average per school year)
