I am a teacher for children with Speech and Language Disabilities and I am currently working in a school for children with Autism or children requiring a 6:1:1 setting. The school is a special education school, but is housed in a general education school, therefore space is very limited. I work in the hallway and occasionally in the corner of a busy and loud classroom. The children in our school are bused in from all over the city and we are considered to be a high poverty school.
