I currently have eleven students ranging from first to fifth grade. Each has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. ASD affects them in many different ways, from social and cognitive delays to sensitivity to sensory input. The school I am currently working at is great. The teachers, administrators and staff all work together to make the environment positive for the students. The general education teachers are a great support to the special education staff and make sure all of our students feel included as much as possible.

About my class
