Our school has over 620 students with 85% low income. Half are African American and 25% White and 25% Hispanic. 12% of our students have disabilities. Luckily they all receive art instruction every week. We have a high attendance rate over 93% because we have great parents and guardians that support our schools and staff and know how valuable a well rounded education is for the success of their children. We are fortunate that our district has not cut our art program like so many others.
