Every student wants to flex their creative muscle, but many need direction. In this project, students will engage with the idea of game design. They will have the opportunity to analyze (yes, through play) other games before designing their own. The students will go through the process of development: ideas, prototyping, finalizing a design, and even designing pitches/advertisements for their games. The products that I have selected will give my students the ability to create and design their own games. Through this project, students will learn the nuances of design (both visually and analytically). With your help, the next game you play at a party could be created by my students!
