Most of my students come to me, hating reading. My job is to turn non-readers into readers. I was a student who disliked reading as a child and as an adult, I know that it can take a while to find the "right" book. My students need new books that make them want to read. My classroom library has very outdated books and books of low interest to my students. By getting new books to excite my students, I know many of them will get excited about reading and even develop a love of reading that will follow them throughout life.

About my class
