I teach 3rd grade in a low socio-economic South Florida elementary school in Stuart. We provide 100% free breakfast and lunches for the entire 850+ students. My goal is to find a way to provide opportunities and resources to my students that will amplify their learning experiences. Some of my students have experienced trauma in their home lives, and it makes learning so difficult. I want to make learning exciting and meaningful for them. It is important to have books with main characters that they can see themselves as in the books they read. My mission is to help make every child I come in contact with develop a life-long love of reading. Teaching my amazing kids is my passion, and I love them like they are my own children.
