My and fifth graders have been identified as having autism or specific learning disabilities, so they get to come to me for extra practice in learning to read, write, and practice math skills. They are the best group of kids and are very self-motivated to learn how to read. I am extremely grateful to work at our school; I feel very supported by parents, staff, and administration. We just lack the funding to purchase everything we need.
