In my classroom, we work on speech and language. We work to improve our ability to listen and follow directions, answer questions and retell stories, and we work on describing objects. We have goals for receptive and expressive language and for articulation. Each student's IEP goals are different. The items I chose will help many of my students work toward achieving their speech and language goals. My job is to make sure everyone can understand what each student is trying to say. We work hard so that each child can be understood and interact appropriately with their teachers and peers.
