I teach at a low socioeconomically high needs community. We have several students that are of Native American decent. Here the focus is on reading and writing. Without teaching our students a well rounded education, they will just get by. I really want my students to learn the rich background of all the people and give them pride in who they are. Students who are proud of who they are and where they come from are better able to achieve and want to learn.

About my class
