Having balances for my classroom will allow our students hands-on experience in the science lab and cover all of the standards required by the state. Having new equipment will enable our science teachers to perform investigations effectively and safely in the science lab. Balances are one of the most important lab equipment pieces in the classroom. Being able to observe and identify mass will help students apply the knowledge gained in the classroom to their school work in a laboratory environment. These labs will also increase their ability of scientific writing, as students will be required to write laboratory reports for each lab they perform in a laboratory journal that they will keep. Please help our students find success in the science classroom and become great investigators of our world!
