We are a Charter School that was created to meet the educational needs of students following the catastrophe that befell Louisiana in the fall of 2005. We serve grades Pre-Kindergarten through eight and have several Special Education classes. Most (99%) of our students are eligible for free or reduced lunches. Our students are truly extraordinary and have done more than merely survive the trauma of storms, oil spills and economic downturns, they have thrived. Through hard work and diligence, they have overcome incredible obstacles. They have had the highest over-all standardized test scores in the district, and the second highest in the city.
