I would like my students to learn science and engineering skills with Magformers sets. Students will be able to understand abstract concepts such as attract and repel in a hands-on way. Magnets are fascinating for students to experiment with and learn about the mysteries of how they work. I also want to be show their creativity with Perler beads and let them take home the finished project. Students find science extremely inspiring and interesting. We also need a document camera so students will be able to showcase all of their work. It is an amazing tool that allows students to have a more dynamic and interactive classroom. This document camera will be hands on for the students. All students are equally eager to display their work in first grade. Each student will be able to show their writing, art work, perform science experiments so the whole class will not have to crowd around, but be able to see from anywhere in the room. Students will be more engaged and learn from each other as it will be hard to ignore if it is the size of a wall. My students eat lunch at 10:45 am and by early afternoon they are hungry, tired and a little grumpy. They need healthy snacks such as fruit snacks and trail mix to fill their empty stomachs so they can have the energy to stay on task the whole day. Giving my students hands on experience with the Magformers and Perler beads letting them share with their peers all the projects they have created on the document camera will enhance their education. They need snacks so they can focus the entire day. Thank you for helping me give my students the best education possible.
