During this extended time away from school, I want to do whatever I can to keep struggling readers reading books. I want them to continue improving their reading levels and, thus, their confidence in themselves as readers. Keeping kids reading, especially struggling readers, isn't easy when they are away from school. My project involves mailing or dropping off new books to students who I have been working with all year long to motivate and encourage them to keep reading. I have carefully selected titles that are a part of series they have already began reading or books that I know they would be interested in.

About my class
