I teach in a K-8 urban school district that services low-income students. My classroom has more than 50% ELLs (English Language Learners). I use center-based learning across all content areas to help reinforce concepts and skills that are thought throughout the day. My students are some of the most hard-working kids I have ever met! Their determination to succeed, regardless of exterior obstacles, is simply astonishing.
