My students are sixth graders that are active, bright, and full of personality. They are your typical eleven-year-old child from the outside, but struggle to learn how to read, write and calculate math problems. They are diverse learners. My students learn in many different ways and need various technology, differentiation, accommodations and modifications in the classroom to be successful. My students are mostly visual and auditory learners that benefit from listening/watching videos, and listening to books on audio. My school is in the inner city of Chicago. The students are predominately Latino. These students come from the highest poverty and their families struggle daily.
