Does using technology to learn only have to happen in the technology lab? As the technology teacher, one of my wishes is that students, when they leave my class, are able to have more technology at their fingertips to enhance their learning. This project will significantly help students extend their learning in their classrooms when not able to use lab Chromebooks. With a “Learning on the Go” cart, students who don’t have access to the lab will have the opportunity to continue to practice technology skills they have have learned and complete lessons/projects that we have covered in class that are often related to what they are learning in their classrooms. Students will have technology available more frequently which will provide them with more opportunities to use the powerful learning tools that can be found on the web. Help my students receive the foundational technology skills they need for the future!
