My students come from every walk of life. Some are avid readers, some never open a book. I want to encourage collaboration and have students share their reading experiences with each other. Students are the best to recommend books to each other. If they don't read at home, and reading has not been modeled, they need opportunities to see others read regularly. Having the books readily available will enable me to constantly put new books in my students' hands.
