Working with first graders they are very active students. With our time together we need to make their play meaningful and full of learning. They enjoy exploring and using movement and music to learn and play. They enjoy using and incorporating their whole bodies to learn. Our student population are based on different funding sources: Head Start, Title I, and EC. I have many different dynamics of students and learners in my classroom and it is my job to find different ways to engage them with materials and life long lessons.
