Flexible seating is a research-based approach to classroom setup that allows students to explore options for learning that best fit their learning style and physical needs. Not all students learn the same way, and this is especially true for the wide range of students in my classroom. My students have diverse learning needs, and the flexible seating this project offers us will allow me to meet my students' sensory and physical needs to create the best learning environment I can. Flexible seating will let me to adapt my classroom to my students' learning style, rather than making the students adapt to my classroom. By allowing students to be comfortable in their learning space, they can get the most out of their time in school.
