Cavazos has approximately 620 students enrolled and out of this number 97% of our students are economically disadvantage. Our student body consists primarily of at-risk students. Some of this 97% are homeless and or abused physically or sexually and are neglected and hungry. And do not know where their next meal is coming from or where they will sleep. They worry about not having clothes to wear to school or jackets in the winter time. these are things that most people take for granted. How can a child learn if they are hungry.
