The students I teach come from a wide range of backgrounds. The title I campus I teach at is unique because it houses all of the 6th graders for my district, we have them for one year and then they move onto junior high. We provide a smooth transition from the elementary setting to the secondary setting. My students thrive when they are able to make connections between what we are learning in the classroom and the "real world". I enjoy being able to provide my students with these real world experiences that they may not be able to get outside the walls of my classroom.
