I am requesting a new carpet, because I learned last year that new Kindergarteners need their own space to better their learning environment. They need structure and a way to provide that is to give them boundaries. If they know exactly where they need to sit then they will not hinder others' learning. "The key to a successful learning environment is structure."-Alfie Kohn Students will greatly benefit from this new "rainbow carpet" during reading as well. We do a great deal of learning on the carpet, and this rainbow arch will help structure reading time. Please help me in providing a successful learning environment. Thank you!
