My students are all from low income communities in the Baltimore area. They are smart and eager learners. Most will start at or below grade level in math and reading, but they have big hopes to achieve their academic goals. They are big on family and community. My school is in an old building that needs plenty of work, but the staff is wonderful. The parents and business partners in the community are becoming more actively involved in the school and the surrounding communities.
