Twenty-four special education students in one class and only one resource teacher (and no aides) to differentiate instruction....can you say challenging? I teach in a brand new Title 1 school in TN. All of my classes are a mix of 5th and 6th graders who have different learning styles and abilities. I do my best to reach them where they are and in their preferred learning style so that they will be successful and engaged in my class. No easy task.
