I have been teaching for 4 years and this is my first year teaching 4th grade. I absolutely LOVE my children!! My students come to me from a low income area and I want so much for them! The majority of the students attending the school are also African-American. The students that go to the school also live within approximately a 5 – 10 mile radius of the school. Many of the students in my class come from a single parent home. Our school is very focused on academic excellence and personal growth of our students. Despite the misfortunes my students may face they are wonderful children. I believe in my students and I am fully invested in my students and their education.
