At Charlotte and Jerry Keller Elementary we are building a strong Theater Arts program. We produce three shows per school year. Our first two show were amazing, but lacked in costuming. The costumes and materials from this project will help my elementary students use their imagination. The audience will believe that the students are actually animals because of their acting and costumes. These costumes will also be used every year in my K-3 theater/reading lessons for student engagement. Imagine a Kindergartner being excited to retell the story because he gets to wear mouse ears and a tail while doing it.
