Access to musical instruments is vital in being able to gain proficiency in performing on them. We have more students than we have instruments and find it necessary to acquire an additional cello to facilitate regular practice. It will be wonderful for a student to share the love of cello with the world. I have met countless people over the years that wistfully say, "Oh, I love the cello." It is immensely meaningful for a student to have an instrument that they can take ownership over and gain a skill that will last them a very full life of music.
