With this focus, I teach 10th grade history to college-bound students at a charter high school. While it is the expectation for every student of this school that they continue on to college, many of my students come from high-poverty homes and neighborhoods. And, many of my students' lack access to computers which are necessary to complete course requirements, ranging from researching events in history to presenting information with presentation software.
