Our students represent a very diverse (racially/economically) population. Each student is unique and while some can sometimes be very challenging, our enthusiasts, our perfectionists and, of course, our spirited kids are what make our art room the great place that it is. I have students who bring me new drawings from home almost every day. I have students who ask me to come in for recess just so that they can work on their artwork. I have students who get so excited about what they learn in art that they teach their younger siblings those art concepts that same day (I hear about it from those younger siblings.) There's nothing more rewarding then seeing my students become inspired and motivated.

About my class
