Students learn in a variety of ways. Teachers create lessons that bring in so many opportunities for students to choose what works best for them. Flexible seating will allow me to engage the students in even more interactive learning. Different seating pods will exist around the room; a coffee table, pillows on the floor, taller tables for standing around, camping chairs and ergonomic yoga chairs. The students will have the opportunity to choose the flexible seating arrangement that best enhances their learning. When a student is comfortable, it brings forward new ideas and new learning that wasn't there before. The traditional classroom has a place, but offering students the flexibility to move around the classroom and find what works best for them will allow for more success and growth for those students.
