My students are young, enthusiastic, and hardworking. They have shown a real desire for learning and for success. The only limitation is their socioeconomic situation. The home life that the majority of my students face would make many individuals give up - but my pupils continue to grow and attend school in spite of challenging odds. They express the desire to improve their lives and wish to attend college or post-secondary vocational training so that they can build a better life for themselves. These students want to thrive, not just grow, but more resources are needed to make that a reality.
