With every new year it always amazes me how many bright, talented children come through my doors. My third graders are bursting with creativity and full of questions about all of the wonders around them. One of the joys of being a teacher is working to harness all of this incredible potential with project- based opportunities and innovative teaching methods. I am dedicated to the future of our children. By LAUSD standards our school is small with approximately 350 students; however, we have had outsized success with student achievement due to a talented, dedicated staff and a supportive principal. Even though we are a Title 1 school, our funding levels are not as high as other schools with higher enrollments. Yet, with the help of generous donors, an inspired faculty, and parent volunteers, we continue to thrive. We're the best little school in CA!
