The students at my school are very diverse. We make sure our school is a positive, safe, and nurturing learning community. For some of our students, school is the only place where structure and stability is present in their lives. Some are living in poverty. For others, they have a very loving and nurturing home life. My goal is to ensure each child is provided what he or she needs to be successful in the classroom. Regardless of their background, students are eager to learn even when they show it in different ways. At my school we provide countless after school programs and clubs for students regardless of their home life. Usually, when they are able to be a part of something like sports or drama club and flourish in that area, it shows in the classroom as well.

About my class
