There is POWER in play! Recess is an exciting, yet important part of a child's day. From exercise to socialization, recess time encompasses a variety of necessary skills needed for healthy development. As a new school, and a start-up Kindergarten & 1st grade, we are looking to make a safe and healthy place for our children to experience recess. We have a great space with lots of potential; we are looking for playground equipment to be the center of that space. Next year, we will host 150 kindergarten & first grade students. We would love to provide them with healthy recess opportunities that have not been available to them in our city. Our project entails a variety of recess activities from classic swings and slide to sports equipment, jump ropes, balls, and yard games. These items would help provide an avenue for our sweet kids to balance their day with academics & play.
