Our school is located in a very small town of only 1.2 square miles, but our students travel upwards of fifteen miles to reach our school. The town was hit hard when the factories shut down and most have to travel to find work. There are very few businesses in the town to advertise in our book and to help support the yearbook. Our students have been using cheap point and shoot cameras or my own personal DSLR which was damaged a year ago by a students when it was dropped. Without the right technology, my students are having a hard time getting the pictures needed to produce the yearbook.
