My students are 96% low socioeconomic status and most are English as a Second Language learners that are very energetic and have an incredible thrust for knowledge! Everyone will work together as a family from comforting their peers when they're upset to celebrating a classmate when new concepts are learned. They're very friendly and welcoming with great social skills among adults as well. My school is incredibly beautiful and historical but also has a few classrooms that need a lot of TLC, especially outdoors in the portables where a lot of the school is located. Love is located in a great community with support from parents and community members which I'm very grateful for!
