In preparation for the upcoming school year, I’ve been thinking of ways to encourage 5-year-olds to be physically distanced. This large cozy classroom carpet will allow my kindergarten students to visually see their personal rug spot and will allow space to spread out while learning. In kindergarten, we spend a lot of time on the carpet listening to stories, engaging in shared writing, learning new math ideas, and many other enriching activities. Typical classroom carpet is similar to sitting on concrete, so this cozy carpet will allow my kinder kids to sit in comfort!
