My classroom is made up of learners with diverse backgrounds. It is so important as an educator to help provide students with the tools to respect one another and make an effort to learn about each other's cultures. The stories of diversity teach valuable lessons of respect and understanding. Quality children's books help to create a sense of tolerance and respect for other students. By donating to this project, you will be creating a conversation within my classroom that will help students understand each other's backgrounds. This literature will help students be more kind and considerate to each other by making an effort to understand each other.
