My students are in need of a soft space to sit and learn. When students feel comfortable they can focus their energy on learning, exploring and teaching! With a carpet such as this with warm, natural colors and their own leaves to sit on, the students can have their own space to listen, share and discover. It is important to me that our classroom feels like home, this meaning that a nice carpet to sit on during read-alouds can provide a comfortable learning environment. I love this carpet for my class because the natural and neutral colors bring nature indoors and the students can feel as if they are outside during the long rainy months in Washington.
