These resources will promote growth in student learning by increasing exposure to mathematical skills and standards the students are struggling with. Most of my students have large gaps in foundational skills in math from previous years due to distant learning. The Daily Math Journals will give them additional practice at home. These students are in the critical year before entering into Middle School and these objectives are necessary for their success in 5th grade. The poster paper and large Post It will be perfect for increasing peer collaboration and group assignments. Students need extra practice with multi-digit multiplication, adding and subtracting, extending their knowledge to be able to critical think and explain their understanding. 5.NBT.B Perform operations with multi-digit whole numbers and with decimals to hundredths. 5.NF.A Use equivalent fractions as a strategy to add and subtract fractions. 5.MD.C Geometric measurement: understand concepts of volume
