Our students are leaders, problem-solvers, engineers, collaborators, communicators, and creators...and they're only eight and nine years old! We teach at a large Title 1 School outside of Atlanta that serves an extremely multicultural, diverse population. In our classrooms, we are all teachers and all learners because each of us has such a different perspective to contribute! Though we come from different places, we are a class family that learns and laughs every day together. We are recently a STEM-certified school where problem-solving reigns supreme through an integrated approach to learning. Students are given a multitude of opportunities that may not be accessible to them outside of school, from gardening to robotics to cooking! Every day, both teachers and students search for and find connections between what we are learning and the "real world."

About my class
