Teaching in the city, my students come from all different families and countries. Each student has their own personality along with their own background. I have 6 different languages spoken in my classroom. My first grade students are a bundle of joy as they have lots of energy and bring something unique to my classroom which makes my class complete. My school is very diverse as we have many different languages spoken in there. There are over 600 students who all receive free lunch and breakfast. Our school is one of the lowest schools in the state, but I believe if we start teaching them how important school and learning is at a younger age, it can help improve our graduation rate and make our students smarter.
