My students are special education students who struggle with some of many of the academic and emotional aspects of the educational process. They are from a small rural area without many opportunities or exposures to several things we take for granted. Many of them are close to giving up on the educational process because they understand they are far behind their same age peers. They want to learn and want to feel success. When they feel good about their learning, they feel good about themselves. This self confidence gives them a great chance for success.

About my class
