My first graders are eager to learn. They have a wide range of ability levels, learning styles, and interests. I have students who are below, on, and above grade level . A few find it difficult to pay attention, especially when there are 29 and several sit far from the board. My school does not have a lot of technology. Most classrooms do not have computers. I am fortunate to have 2 computers in my room and my students practically beg to work at them. With a large class, they don't get much time with them on a weekly basis.
